Just heard Skint Foodies on The Food Program on Radio 4 with Sheila Dillon.
I entered the ingredients for a delicious sounding Carrot, cumin and kidney bean burger exactly as per the recipe.
This is saved under My Recipes and then transferred to My Meals in the program.
Here are the results – this is with 2 burgers, a bread roll, some rocket salad and apple chutney – results show that it meets 75% of meal requirements but you could have an apple, some yogurt, a cup of tea … to make up the full meal. Well done Jack in promoting delicious, cheap food and I hope students can use the site as a case study for food technology and home economics investigations. Really good on thinking about cost of food.
